About this edition: This parallel online edition is based on the published Greek and Slavonic texts, reproduced here with the kind permission of their publishers. Ekaterina Dikova aligned the texts at the word and verse level, developed the lexicographic concept of the glossary, and revised the automatic morphological annotation of the Slavonic texts. Fabio Maion implemented the online presentation and annotation framework, corrected the automatic annotation of the Greek texts, and carried out the technical extraction of the glossaries. Margaret Dimitrova edited the publication as a whole. Irina Kuzidova-Karadzhinova acted as consultant to the project and provided all source materials.
The Glossaries include only the full Slavonic version of the text. Only those words are included for which parallels can be identified in the parallel text; it does not document the full lexical inventory of the present edition, which is otherwise accessible through search functions. It highlights not only literal but also non-literal correspondences that may be opaque out of context. Stable lexical equivalence is marked with ↔, partial semantic overlap with ≈, and discourse-driven renderings with #. Non-autonomous elements lacking stable lexical counterparts are not entered (e.g. ἄρδην vs. въ мъгновенїе). Periphrastic Greek constructions rendered by a single Slavonic verb are recorded at phrase level(e.g. въдати # εἰώθω φέρειν). Cases of semantic incompatibility or reversal are excluded (e.g. възращаеть for φύουσι, δαψιλής for малъ, or вьсь for πᾶς),regardless of morpho-syntactic correspondence or pragmatic-semantic shift. The number in brackets following each lema indicates the number of appearances. The number(s) following it indicate its location (the number of the verse it is found it).
